The Overview
According to clinical research on breast cancer, it was found that a family history with the BRAC gene will result in a family member having breast cancer. AstraZenca Oncology has a breast cancer drug, and thought it would be a great idea to provide the oncologist with a tool to help determine if a patient had the BRAC gene.

The Challenge
The process to find this out existed by an oncologist drawing family tree members on a piece of paper during a patient's appointment and calculating the patient's risk. This process was inaccurate as the calculations performed were incorrect and could take a long time.
The Solution
Creating a simple online/offline app allowed oncologists to input information about the patient and their family history, and the app would perform the calculation for them. This brought speed and accuracy. Oncologists could save the details and even share them with the patient.
