Inservio offers a range of specialty medicines that is delivered directly to clinics to help with patient treatments in therapeutic areas such as ophthalmology, immunological diseases, pulmonary arterial hypertension, oncology, spinal muscular atrophy and respiratory diseases.
The Challenge
Inservio manages over 330 clinics Australia-wide. The operational process between their clinics was manual, with product orders and inventory tracking on various spreadsheets. They had a team of 40 employees managing the processes through manual data entries, which led to mistyped information and human errors. The clinic process was repeated each week across the different states.
The Solution
A cloud-based clinic portal was created. This allowed each state to set up a clinic, process the order and manage the delivery. We streamlined the process into a logged-in area where orders can be sent, viewed and processed in one area across multiple teams. Even clinics could log in to view where their order was and make changes.
The company was able to reduce its internal staff by 40%.
